Nature Experience: A Unique and Inviting Residence Design

Bringing Leisure and Simplicity to Modern Living

Through the living room, dining room, and bar, Nature Experience offers an open space for family sharing and gathering. The designers have utilized the simplest materials, the most primitive structure, warm colors, and decorative furniture to express the essence of life. The result is a design that exudes warmth and comfort.

The project makes use of Melamine Plywood, marble, and Italian paint to bring the designers' vision to life. With a project area of 76 square meters, Nature Experience showcases how thoughtful design can transform even limited spaces into inviting and functional environments.

One of the unique aspects of Nature Experience is the seamless integration of different spaces. In a public area of 33 square meters, three distinct spaces are placed without conflicting with each other. The original walls and beams are retained, and different materials are used to distinguish the spaces, achieving a harmonious balance.

Located in Taoyuan City, Taiwan, the Nature Experience project began in August 2020 and was completed in November 2020. Throughout the design process, the team faced various challenges, including breaking away from the Asian tendency for excessive storage and decoration. They focused on maximizing the practicality of the space and merging the characteristics of three different areas through the use of different materials.

The designers also paid attention to the details, such as using paint on the walls of the living room to complement the dark sofas and wall lamps, and incorporating wooden tables and chairs in the dining area to create a three-dimensional visual effect. The bar area features a thin iron plate covered with white marble, while dark wood veneer on the wall adds a natural touch.

Nature Experience has been recognized for its exceptional design and innovation. It was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious award is given to designs that meet professional and industrial requirements, integrating industry best practices and competent technical characteristics to contribute to a better world.

With Nature Experience, Pin Hsu Wang and Jyun Lin Wang have created a residence design that not only provides a comfortable living space but also encourages meaningful interactions among family members. By embracing simplicity and incorporating natural elements, this design offers a unique and inviting lifestyle experience.
